Rotors
The MiniMax™ comes with two rotors: one for microtubes and one for 0.2ml PCR strip
tubes. Both rotors are designed for applications requiring relatively low g-forces, such as
micro-filtration, cell separation and quick spin-downs of tube walls. The 6 x 1.5/2.0ml rotor is
designed to centrifuge up to six individual 1.5/2.0ml plastic microcentrifuge tubes. Using the
adaptors supplied with the unit, it can also accommodate 0.5ml and 0.2ml tubes. The strip
tube rotor is designed to centrifuge 2 x 8-well 0.2ml strip tubes. It can also accommodate up
to 16 individual 0.2ml tubes. These rotors are interchangeable and easily exchanged by
hand.
Primesepra Series
The Primesepra™ Series Centrifuges have a functional, compact design with a low
vibration and noise level. They come with metacrilate blue lids, safety switches, on/off
switches, pilot lights, lighting devices, speed regulators and adjustable timers of up to 30
minutes and 99 minutes respectively. Their test tube holders are made of aluminium to
increase resistance to knocks and erosion.

Safe lid system
The centrifuge can start only when the lid is properly locked. The lid can be opened only
when the rotor has come to a complete stop. In the event of a power failure or malfunction,
the lid can be opened by pulling the emergency cord.
Alarm system
If the speed or temperature exceeds the pre-set values or an imbalance occurs, the system
emits an alarm signal. The LED then displays an error report which is automatically saved.
